Fundraising

We rely on fundraising that helps maintain our vehicles, items for sessions, day trips and supported holidays. Since day one we have always offered a variety of social events to fund-raise - these are great nights not to be missed!

In 2019 we were accepted to as a good cause for The South Staffordshire Community Lottery - for every £1 ticket bought, we receive 50p, as well as a percentage of all funds raised through all annual takings. With a weekly cash jackpot prize of £25,000 other cash prizes and free tickets up for grabs, it’s an opportunity not to be missed. This has the potential to be massive for Rockspur, particularly during the current COVID-19 pandemic and it’s so easy to play.

• we are selling and the amount annually we are raising. Quarterly or monthly prizes in addition to the weekly cash prizes and free tickets are visible here. If you need to register as a first time buyer, complete the registration form and then select the amount of weekly tickets you wish to buy.   

Most importantly, whether purchasing online or over the phone, please select Rockspur as your good cause. That way we receive a donation from you of 50p of every pound ticket bought that goes straight into our fundraising. A further 10p is shared among the other good causes in South Staffordshire, with the rest going to the prize fund, VAT and lottery operating costs. There is a much higher odds of winning The South Staffordshire Lottery that the National, Health or Postcode Lottery. This is a superb initiative from South Staffordshire Council to ensure there is money available to help the good causes in their local community of which we are one! Our supported holidays are a massive part of our annual calendar. Members from Rockspur have been all over the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA in the last 13 years. Because of our fund-raising, Members only pay what the holiday costs and not for their support needs – people putting people first.
